Wolfys Seaweed Porridge with Fish Paste Pot.
Wolfys Porridge have added to their range of 5 porridges with a new Seaweed and Fish Paste flavour. Their instant porridge pots contain the unique feature of another little pot – filled with jam/marmalade/syrup and now, fish paste – tucked under the lid. The team at Wolfys were keen to develop a new flavour for fish lovers and are very pleased with the final outcome.
Sales Manager, James Horwood, says: “We source the seaweed just off the Falmouth coast in Cornwall. It’s dried, crushed and added to the porridge oats along with a pinch of salt and whole milk powder for a creamy texture. The fish paste is made from trout, salmon and sea bass which are all farmed sustainably around the south coast of the UK. We’ve kept the same format as before, with the little pot of goodness (fish paste) tucked under the lid for you to scoop, pour or splodge into your porridge.”
Their current 5 flavours have been an overwhelming success but they expect the Seaweed and Fish Porridge to surpass all previous sales with enquiries flooding in from major supermarkets and ferry companies.
The porridge retails for £1.99 and is only available today, April Fool’s day.
